The steps for activating a Dongle-Locked license are the same as the steps for activating a Computer-Locked license. The only difference is that the dongle will need to be connected to the computer during activation and operation. Note that only one dongle can be connected during activation.
Once one PC has been activated the license file (.cml) can then be copied to all computers that are going to be used:
License Folder: C:\ProgramData\3D Systems\LicFiles\[Product]\[Version]
Alternatively, the activation process can be repeated on all computers instead of copying the license file.
When connecting the dongle to the computer make sure the red light is on. The recommended dongle driver may need to be installed manually if the red light does not turn on:
Once the license file has been deployed on all computers where the software will be used, the dongle will work as 'plug and play' without any deactivation on previously used computers.
